Ingredients

  • 6 or 7 Taroes
  • 30g Bacon
  • 100g Cream cheese
  • 3tbsps milk
  • Flour
  • Beaten Egg
  • Bread crumbs
  • Pinch salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Place the taro with skin in a pot filled with water,and bring to the boil.When the taro are tender,Peel them.
  2. Place the peeled taroes in the pot,and mash.
  3. Add the chopped Bacon and 8mm cube cut cream cheese.Add the milk,and mix until the whole mixture becomes thick and soft.
  4. Devide into 9 equal portions.
  5. Coat each of the portions with the flour,beaten egg and bread crums in this order.
  6. Place the portions in a oil at 350F.
  7. When the batter is crispyand turns light blown,retrieve the croquettes and drain on a tray.
