  • Dash of garlic powder (to taste)
  • 1 lb. spaghetti

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the olive oil and garlic over medium heat.
  2. Let the above ingredients cook while cooking the spaghetti in boiling salted water.
  3. Be careful not to over-brown or burn the garlic.
  4. When the spaghetti is a few minutes from being done, and the garlic is nutty brown, drain clam juice into the saucepan.
  5. Add the parsley and season with pepper and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the clams and let heat through while draining the spaghetti.
  7. In a warm serving bowl, toss spaghetti with sauce and serve.
