Warm Turmeric Latte

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp powdered turmeric
  • 1 pinch of powered ginger
  • 1 tsp Manuka honey (or any raw, unprocessed honey) or organic maple syrup
  • A dash of Himalayan Sea Salt or Celtic Sea Salt
  • A pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (note: if you love the flavor of cinnamon, you can add a 1/2 tsp. You can always add, but can’t subtract, so start with the lower amount.)
  • 1 cup coconut milk or any plant milk

Directions

  1. Add milk of choice and powdered turmeric to a saucepan and whisk together until mixed.
  2. Allow to slowly simmer on low heat for up to 5 minutes. (No need to simmer if using turmeric paste, as it has already been previously cooked).
  3. Pour into blender and add remaining ingredients and blend for 30 second or until creamy and foamy.
  4. Pour into a mug and enjoy!
