Baked Ziti

Ingredients

  • 16 oz ziti pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef or sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 (27 oz) jars spaghetti sauce
  • 1 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 6 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 6 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 TBSP fresh basil, chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.
Cook pasta according to package instructions.
Saute beef and onion.
Add sauce and simmer for 15 minutes.
Grease a 2 quart baking dish.
Place half of the pasta in a dish, layer with Provolone and Mozzarella cheese.
Spread half of the sauce and sour cream over the cheese.
Repeat.
Add a layer of Parmesan cheese and basil.
Bake for 30 minutes
