Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add a generous amount of salt (1 tbsp) and start cooking pasta. In the meantime, dice garlic and tomatoes.
In a pan, warm olive oil, add chopped garlic and chili flakes, and heat until perfumed.
Add chopped tomatoes, capers, salt and pepper; sauté over low heat for 3-4 minutes and add basil.
Drain and toss pasta with sauce. Heat for 2 minutes and serve warm.
