1) Beat together eggs and sugar in large mixing bowl until combined. Add maple and vanilla extracts and beat until combined. Add eggs and beat until smooth
2) Whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cream of tartar and salt in a separate medium sized bowl. Add 1/4 of dry mixture at a time into wet ingredients while continuing to beat
3) Roll dough into a ball and wrap with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for two hours
4) After dough is chilled, preheat oven to 375 and line two baking sheets with parchment paper
5) Roll out dough ball onto floured surface until dough is about 1/8 inch thick (use additional flour as necessary to stop dough from sticking to rolling pin). Cut cookies with cookie cutter and place onto baking sheets 1 inch apart from one another. Continue doing so until dough is gone
6) Bake for 9 mins, allow to cool for 3 mins when removed from oven
7) While cookies are cooling, whisk together all glaze ingredients in small bowl. Use spoon to spread glaze on top of each cookie and serve warm or allow glaze to cool
