BBQ Hawaiian Roll Sliders

Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 6 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 4-8 oz. shredded Colby jack cheese
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup French fried onions
  • Bacon
  • Garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder and smoked paprika, to taste
  • Butter
  • Sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Brown meat, adding garlic and seasonings to taste. Drain any excess grease. Add BBQ sauce and mix.
  3. Cut rolls in half and place in a baking dish. Layer with pepper jack cheese. Next, add the meat mixture. Sprinkle with Colby Jack cheese, French fried onions and optional bacon.
  4. Replace the top halves of the rolls. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  5. Bake 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted.
