Butterfinger Blondies

Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1-3/4 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 2 lightly beaten eggs-large
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup semi-sweet, peanut butter and/or butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup toasted pecans, chopped (optional)
  • 1 package Nestle Butterfinger bites candy

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and line 9x13 baking pan with foil & spray.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder and salt together.
  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Combine dry and wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Add morsels and nuts. Mix.
  6. Pour 1/2 batter into pan. Place Butterfinger bites evenly over batter. Pour other half on batter on top.
  7. Bake until top is shiny, cracked and golden brown (30-40 minutes)
  8. Cook on wire rack.
