Cajun Chili

Ingredients

  • 1-16 ounce can of Bush's chili beans
  • 5-tbsp of chili powder
  • 2-tbsp of cumin
  • 1-tsp of cayenne
  • 1-tbsp of garlic powder
  • 2-tbsp of Tony’s or Byron’s
  • 1-Rotel chili fixin's
  • 2-large yellow onion,
  • 2-bell peppers
  • 5-cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 2.5 to 3 lbs of ground meat
  • 1-can (28 oz) of purée tomatoes (San Mariano)
  • 1-bottle of Budlight beer
  • 1/2 cup of George’s spicy Bloody Mary

Directions

Sauté onions and bell peppers until they begin to get soft then add ground meat.
Sprinkle about 2 tsp of Tony’s and cook until meat is brown.

Drain fat off of the meat by dumping into colander.

Return meat to pot and add all other ingredients and spices.

Bring to a simmer and cook covered for a couple of hours stirring occasionally.

At end take the lid off and continue to cook if it's too watery until it has the consistency.
