Caramel Apple Bourbon Slush

  • INGREDIENTS
  • 4 ounces apple cider
  • 2 ounces bourbon whiskey
  • 3 tablespoons salted caramel sauce (plus extra for rimming the glasses)
  • 2 medium-sized apples; peeled, cored, and quartered
  • 2 cups ice
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped peanuts (for rimming the glasses)
  • DIRECTIONS
  • Place a small amount of caramel sauce on a plate, and dip the rims of the drinking glasses in.
  • Then place the chopped peanuts on a plate, and dip the caramel-rimmed glasses in until well-coated.
  • Put the apple cider, bourbon, caramel sauce, apples, and ice in the jar of the KitchenAid® Pro Line® Series Blender. Secure the lid and set the blender dial to the Smoothie setting. Blend until the machine turns itself off.
  • Divide the mixture equally between the two glasses, and serve immediately
