Chicken Enchilada Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped Green onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • (2) 4 oz. can chilies
  • One 10.75 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 12 inch flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup of milk

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and sauté the green onion over medium heat until tender. (About 3-4 minutes).
  3. Add: garlic powder,, then stir in the chili peppers, soup and sour cream. Mix well. Reserve about 3/4 of the sauce.
  4. To the emailing 1/4 sauce, add the chicken, 3/4 cup of cheese and stir
  5. Fill each tortilla within mixture and roll
  6. Place seem side down on a lightly greased casserole dish. (9x13)
  7. Take remaining mixture, add milk. Spoon over the enchiladas
  8. Top with I remaining cheese
  9. Bake 30-35 minutes and until bubbly
