Malai Pedas

Ingredients

  • • 1 cup almonds
  • • 1 cup cashews
  • • 1/2 cup dry dates powder
  • • 7 to 8 soft dates
  • • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • • 1 tbsp any nut or coconut milk (if needed) for binding
  • • Slivers of pistachios
  • • Cardamom powder as per taste
  • Makes 15 to 20 small size pedas
  • *Variations*
  • You can give rose water flavour
  • If you have used milk you have to refrigerate the pedas

Directions

1) In a blender grind almonds to make almond powder (meal) and take it in bowl and then blend cashews to make cashew powder. Mix it in bowl.

2) Now add rest of the ingredients except pistachios.

You can mix well together in a bowl or blend in a mixer to make dough like consistency. If required add any nut milk or coconut milk

Give shape and garnish with pistachios. You can also roll them in desiccated coconut.
