Ingredients

  • 2 cups warm milk
  • 2/3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbs yeast
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 6 cups bread flour

Directions

  1. In large bowl mix warm milk, sugar and yeast. Let sit 5-10 minutes until bubbly.
  2. Stir in salt and oil, and gradually add flour intil a dough forms.
  3. Knead dough for about 5 min until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
  5. Punch down and divide into two. Shape into loaves and place in parchment paper-lined pans.
  6. Cover and let rise again until puffy (approx 45 min)
  7. Bake at 350˚F (175˚C) for approx 35 min until golden brown.
  8. Cool before slicing. Sooooo good!
