Mississippi Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 C unsalted butter
  • 1 packet dry ranch dressing
  • 1 packet of dry Au Jus gravy mix
  • 5-10 pepperoni I peppers whole

Directions

  1. Dry chicken with paper towels and put in bowl
  2. Pour the ranch dressing mix and the au jus mix over the chicken and toss and rub
  3. Arrange chicken in bottom of slow cooker and arrange peppers around it
  4. Cut butter into slabs and arrange on top of chicken
  5. Cook on high for 4 hours, or low for 8 hours.
  6. Cut up peppers for serving
  7. Pull apart chicken in the pot before serving
