Pan con queso y ajo

Ingredients

  • 1 rodaja de pan italiano
  • 118 ml de mantequilla sin sal (derretida)
  • 1 cucharadita o 1 cucharadita y media de ajo molido (ver nota)
  • 355 ml de mozzarella rallada

Directions

  1. Precalentar el horno a 205ºC.
  2. Forrar una bandeja de horno con papel de aluminio o de horno.
  3. Cortar el pan a los largo y colocar las dos piezas boca arriba sobre la bandeja.
  4. Restregar las dos piezas de pan con mantequilla derretida.
  5. Espolvorear con ajo molido.
  6. Cover with a piece of aluminum foil and place in the oven.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
  8. Uncover bread. Top with cheese.
  9. Place bread back in the oven for 2 to 4 more minutes, to melt the cheese. (see note)
  10. Remove from the oven and place on a cutting board. Let cool for few minutes.
  11. Slice and serve.
