Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Crisco
- 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 1/4 sifted Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 3/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp salt

Directions
Mix together thoroughly:
- 1/2 Cup Crisco
- 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Egg
Sift together and stir in:
- 1 1/4 sifted Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 3/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Chill dough, roll into medium size balls
- Place 3" apart on lightly greased baking sheet
- Flatten with fork dipped in flour forming a crisscross pattern
- Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes until set but not hard.
