Pizzelle Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 pound butter
- 5 cups sugar
- 12 eggs
- 9 tsp vanilla
- 7 1/2 cups flour
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar till fluffy
- Stir well, fold in well beaten eggs and then flour, stir well
- Add vanilla
- Use cookie iron between low and medium. Spray iron with non stick cooking spray. When iron is hot put 1 tsp dough on iron and close (Walker iron 1 tsp dough). Time varies on cooking. Cook till light brown, about 1-3 minutes. Turn out on a paper towel to cool
