  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1-15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1-28 oz can tomato puree
  • dash of salt & pepper
  • sprinkle of oregano (mom does 1/2 tsp)
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning (mom doesn't use)
  • generous sprinkle of garlic powder (mom does 1 tsp, but there is some in italian seasoning)
  • generous sprinkle of onion powder (mom doesn't add)
  • sprinkle of pepper (mom doesn't add)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3-4 baby carrots cut in half

Directions

  1. Cook in crock pot or on stove for at least 1 hr.
  2. Remove bay leaves and carrots when done cooking
