  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound shrimp
  • 1/4 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 3 pieces bacon
  • 1/3 cup green onions, sliced, plus extra for garnish
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce, or more if you like it hot!
