  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter frozen or cold, grated; 1 stick
  • 3/4 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup sourdough discard
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter for brushing optional
