  • ¼teaspoon black pepper, plus more for seasoning
  • 1(3-inch) cinnamon stick
  • ½teaspoon ground cumin
  • ⅛teaspoon ground green cardamom
  • ¼cup shelled salted pistachios, chopped
  • 2tablespoons golden raisins, chopped
  • 2tablespoons dried tart cherries, chopped
  • ¼cup chopped parsley, plus more for garnish
