Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted vegetable broth (or water)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced (about 1 cup)
  • 1 small red bell pepper (about 1 cup)
  • 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes, organic if possible

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 small head cauliflower, cut into florets (about 3 1/2 cups)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 cup packed fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon salt, to taste
