Pizzelle Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 pound butter
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 12 eggs
  • 9 tsp vanilla
  • 7 1/2 cups flour

Directions

Cream butter and sugar till fluffy
Stir well, fold in well beaten eggs and then flour, stir well
Add vanilla
Use cookie iron between low and medium. Spray iron with non stick cooking spray. When iron is hot put 1 tsp dough on iron and close (Walker iron 1 tsp dough). Time varies on cooking. Cook till light brown, about 1-3 minutes. Turn out on a paper towel to cool
