Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef stew meat
  • 2 10 ounce cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 soup cans of water
  • carrots and potatoes peeled and sliced (I used 3 carrots and 4 small potatoes)
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 sticks of celery (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven 300 degrees
  2. Mix meat and soups with water in 2 quart baking dish; (I used cast iron Dutch oven)
  3. Bake for 3 hours.
  4. Add potatoes, carrots and other vegetables such as onions, garlic and celery (after 2 hours)
