Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c flour
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 3/4 c cocoa
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1/3 c vegetable oil
  • 1 c water
  • 1 T vinegar
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 (8oz) cream cheese- softened
  • 1 egg- beaten
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1/8 t salt
  • 1 c miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. 350 oven- makes about 17-18 cupcakes - line cupcake pans
  2. mix flour,baking soda,cocoa & salt - set aside
  3. in mixing bowl - whisk 1 c sugar,oil & water until blended- stir in vinegar & vanilla - beat in flour mixture
  4. in another bowl beat cream cheese, egg,1/3 c sugar & salt - stir in chocolate chips
  5. put chocolate batter in lined cupcake pans - about 1/3 full- put heaping T - cream cheese mixture in
  6. bake about 20-25 min.
