Preheat the grill to medium heat. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the buns; mix well. Form into 6 equal-sized patties. Grill patties 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until juices run clear and no pink remains. Serve on buns.
Notes
Why not give these "souper" burgers a zip by topping with chili sauce? And, you know, if you don't have the time, or it's the wrong weather for grilling outdoors, you can use a grill pan to give your burgers a similar look and flavor.
Serve with leaf lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, pickles and hot peppers. Allow each to add what they like.
