  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tsp oil
  • {FILLING}
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 3 spring onions, minced
  • 1/4 white cabbage, minced
  • 1/4 napa cabbage, minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp wholemeal flour

Directions

  1. 1. Make the dough by mixing the flour, salt, and water. Knead, then add water. Continue kneading until the dough is smooth and shiny.
  2. 2. Cover with a damp towel and prepare the filling.
  3. 3. To prepare the filling, lightly sauté the vegetables in the oil and season with salt. Sprinkle with flour to absorb any liquid.
  4. 4. Roll out 5 cm rounds of dough and add filling. Pleat the edges together.
  5. 5. The gyoza can be boiled, steamed, or fried, and are also suitable for freezing.
