Korean Bulgogi

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb beef**, cut into thin slices (1.5” long, 3/4” wide, 1/8” thick)
  • 1 medium onion, sliced into long thin slivers
  • 4 garlic cloves, mashed
  • 1/4 tsp beef buillon powder (or just toss a cube in there)
  • 1/3 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbs. sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbs. sugar (if using raw sugar, add 1/2 Tbs. more)
  • 1-2 carrots, OPTIONAL, sliced into thin strips (1/8” thick, 1” long)
  • ****Preferably a medium/tender cut (loin, flank, short plate)
  • I have added baby Bok Choy and snow peas as well as any other vegetable lying in my drawer in the fridge.
