  • Fine sea salt & pepper
  • 1 bag (12 oz.) frozen peas
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons each: unsalted butter and white flour
  • 2 cups chicken stock/broth
  • 2-1/4 cups whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon each: onion & garlic powder
  • 1-1/2 cups dry orzo pasta
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated, divided
  • Optional: fresh parsley, lemon (for serving)
