Ribbon Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 envelopes Knox gelatin
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 pkg each: lime, orange, lemon, and strawberry jello (made according to pkg directions, cool but NOT SET)

Directions

  1. Bring milk to a boil. Add sugar, stir well, but do not boil.
  2. Soak the gelatin in the cold water, then add to the milk mixture.
  3. Add vanilla.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool. Add sour cream when cool.
  5. Put first Jello (cool but not set) into 9x13 pan. Refrigerate until set.
  6. Add potion of center mixture and spread over jello. Refrigerate till firm.
  7. Reap eat with the rest of the jello and center.
