Add flour, baking powder, salt, butter & hot water to a large bowl.
Mix well until a shaggy ball develops.
Flour a surface lightly & knead into a smooth ball.
Add back to the bowl, place a damp towel over the bowl & let rise for 10 minutes.
Add dough ball to a flour surface & cut into 12 even pieces.
Roll into balls & then roll with a rolling pin into the size of a tortilla.
Add a small amount of olive oil to a skillet on medium high heat add the tortilla & let cook for 1-2 minutes on each side.
