Turnip And Leek Soup | Vintage Mixer

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter or olive oil
  • 3 medium leeks, washed and sliced thin (using just the white and light green parts)
  • 3 lbs 24 ounces turnips, peeled and cubed
  • water
  • salt and pepper to taste, 1.5-2 teaspoons of salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper
